Book to Movie!

Once upon a time, an author dreamed of writing a book that would become a movie. That dream came true with A Family Under the Christmas Tree, which was adapted into the Hallmark Movie Picture a Perfect Christmas.  The story was inspired by a meme I stumbled across of a Bernese Mountain Dog looking guilty next to a toppled Christmas tree, with the caption, "Mom, it just fell over."
I can't begin to tell you how exciting it was to see my characters come to life.

I had the great privilege of being on set for a day during filming. I met the actors, the director, and the lovely producer who had read my book and thought it could be a movie.  Watching the way a story is filmed was an experience I'll not forget. Every detail was considered. Everyone was so kind, and there was a sense of camaraderie with the cast and crew. It was a wonderful day.
